The verdict is in...

It's a BOY!!!
We are so excited to welcome a new little baby boy to our family. Zach thought that we were having a boy from the beginning, but I thought it was another girly. I didn't have a feeling or anything, I was just used to having girls. My mom came with us to the ultrasound and when we found out that it was a boy, we ALL squealed, "Oh my goodness!!!" Let me tell you, this little man left nothing to the imagination. We would be looking at his legs, then suddenly- Oh look, his little boy parts! So we were able to confirm, time and time again that, yes indeed, the little baby that is inside my tummy is a boy. As we left, the receptionist told us that she knew of at least one family that was excited about the gender of their baby because she could hear us all the way to the receptionist desk. Oops, we might have been a bit too loud. Oh well!
Our tradition is that after we find out the baby's gender, we go pick out the coming home from the hospital outfit. We went back home, picked up my daddy and the girls, and went shopping! My sweet mom and dad bought us the bedding for our son, sports themed. Zach and my dad loved it! They were the ones who picked it out. As we looked for baby's coming home outfit, I would find an outfit, Zach would say, "Eh." So we would keep looking. Finally we narrowed it down to two outfits, but Zach couldn't decide which one he thought our son's personality would be more like- khakis and a button up shirt, or a romper. We ended up buying both. It has been interesting to see Zach's reaction with him knowing that he is going to have a son. He has been very involved in the clothing decisions, the bedroom decorations, name, EVERYTHING! Not that he wasn't involved with the girls decisions, but I feel like it matters so much more to him this time around. He says it is because he wants our son to know that he is a MAN and to not be completely girly being surrounded by women. So cute to watch him. He is also super excited for me to have a mamma's boy so I know what it feels like, since he has two very extreme daddy's girls. Either way, WE ARE THRILLED TO BE HAVING A SON!!!
